About Port Charles Revisited (2.0)

This series originally debuted in 2006 on the Soap Opera Network as part of my blog. I did about 7 episodes before I realized that there weren't a lot of comments coming in. Getting discouraged, I set aside the project for the next 7 years until a friend of mine encouraged me to try another online series. Well now I have three in the works lol

The theme for this PC spin-off is: Revamped, Renewed, and Revisited. I hope that I will be able to put some life back into the old sudser and bring it close to what it originally set out to be - a drama surrounding the lives and loves of people working in, and around, a hospital in the smalltown of Port Charles, New York. It should have been the Grey's Anatomy of daytime - but much better!

I very recently tried to write a series of the same name involving some of the show's supernatural elements but I couldn't do get excited to continue it. As far as I am concerned, the arcs sucked and never happened - in this series or in my mind. I disliked 99% of the "books" because they killed off characters I adored (hello, Karen and Eve), dishonored history or wrote my faves completely batshit out of character, or just sent them away all together never to be heard from again (hello, Courtney). I couldn't stand it. I still get mad about it. So here I am trying again to revive my series, doing what I want and not what others might expect. I think if you were a PC fan before the arcs, you will love this. If not, I hope that you find something else to enjoy about it. Thanks for reading.

Please note that the series is set before the arcs in Late 2000. Happy reading!

So while vampires will likely never roam the hallways of General Hospital or the alleys of PC again (at least on this serial!) I do believe this will be really a fun story to write and to read. It re-debuts November 1st, 2013.

Welcome back to Port Charles, my friends!
